About South Central Veterinary Services

South Central Veterinary Services is a family-owned and -operated vet hospital. The clinic was started by Dr. John L. Walla, DVM, who has been in practice since 1993. Dr. Walla is an LSU graduate who traveled with his wife Melissa to Louisiana to aid in the rescue of stranded animals in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. They eventually made their way to Navasota to start their practice.
